Hi Abey, thanks for the compliment, I don't want to divulge too much about myself here, for obvious reasons, but if you send me a private email I'll be happy to talk to you more in depth.
I had one of the hardest jobs in the world, and it wrecked my back, I have a herniated disc and was only able to continue working due to heavy duty prescription meds, and against doctors advice, I continued until I was physically unable to do the work anymore, besides I got to the point that the meds were no longer effective. I voluntarily choose to taper down, my doctor would have pushed the opiate ceiling further if I had let him, so around March of this year I tapered down to where I'm at today which is hydrocodone 10/660 qid.
Having serious chronic pain, I don't know if further recovery is possible and maintain a good quality of life, the hydro only takes the edge off as it is, but without it I don't think I could function at all.
