Default Can't Seem To Stop

I'm not addicted to any drugs but I am addicted to buying jewelry online. I already have tons of jewelry but I still want more. My husband has told me not to be ordering anything else and I told him I wouldn't. I bid on and won 6 rings from Ebay, also bid and won a ring, 2 necklaces on Bidz.com. I haven't mentioned it to my husband so now when I pay for everything I don't know what address to have everything shipped to.

Has anyone else on here had the same problem or am I the only one?

I definitely need some kind of help.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Ghostsurfer4,
I came to this website to ask if anyone else had been on Lyrica and if anyone else had had sphenoid sinus trouble. No one answered so I assumed no one had that problem or any advice to offer.

Since this, I've only checked this sight about once a week and that is just to check on the physical well-being of one person - Liz Ann.

Now, I would suggest that you not got to those websites. Find something other than jewelry. This is no where in the category of ***, but it is an obsession so maybe getting pointers from ****rs anonnymous or somebody like that.

It is an obsessive behavior when you know you should not continue but do so. Hope this helps. Lynda

Oh well, so much for trying to clue you in but maybe if I tell you that if you lived in Mississippi it would be called going to the boats. L.

Hi ghostsurfer,

Shopping online can be every bit as much of an addiction as ***, drug addiction, alcoholism, etc.

I don't know if there's a twelve-step program for obsessive shoppers but there are programs in most communities for obsessive-compulsive behavior.

I would strongly and sincerely encourage you to get out your yellow pages, or call your hospital, or doctor and find out where the closest meeting to where you live is and get youself out to it.

These programs work. I have more than twenty years of sobriety in AA.

The one thing you can be certain of is that your problem can only get worse and will probably worsen quickly.

Just look at what this addiction is already doing to you and to your marriage. Ask yourself if your obsession over jewelry is worth losing your marriage, because that's where it could take you.

So, please don't waste any time finding a program to deal with it.

God bless,

jj
