Question Ammonia Levels

I'm looking for some advice from people who have or know of Liver Cirrhosis. Mine can not process the proteins that I eat. I'm taking the Lactulose. While doing some research today I noticed and read a artical dealing with high Ammonia Levels and it suggested "Neomycin" to be take as an antibiotic that coulh help a person that gets confussed and disorientated. I have been hospitalized 31 times since May 2007 and even placed in ICU once. Would this be a good idea to ask my Doctor? I am and I've read all the drawlbacks of taking Neomycin and I think it would be good. Thank you; Mark
