Default Allegra-D 12 hour

Need help. My daughter started taking Zyrtec-D when she was about 14 years old and I began to notice a change in her personality. She began to not be so happy anymore and started cutting back on her eating. Well by the time she was 15 she had dropped from an original weight of 125lbs to about 90 lbs. Our insurance would no longer pay for Zyrtec-D and only paid for Allegra-D so we began getting that for her. Well, to make a long story short, her personality only got worse. she is depressed and mad at us all the time. she sleeps very little (4 hours a night roughly some nights she actually does get more because her body makes her sleep because it can not go any further) She has become an anorexic. She has been to counseling but cannot explain why she has become the way she is. We are at our wits end and can only trace back to the fact that she started taking Zyrtec-D when it all started and when she began taking Allegra-D there was no change in her mood or her eating. I don't know what to do and I don't want to lose her. I need to know if anyone else has seen or know of someone who has had a personality change or change in eating habits as a result of taking either of these medications. I am not looking to bring a lawsuit against any company, I only want to help my daughter. She needs to take medicine because her allergies are so very severe but on the same note I need her to snap out of this depressive/anorexic state she is in. She is now 18 and her weight had gotten to 112 but now is back to 98 lbs. If anyone knows of anyone else going through a similar situation using either of these med's please let me know.
Thank you, Crystal Melton (her mother)

I'm not too sure anyone on here will be able to help you. This forum mostly discusses other issues. Have you talked to your doctor? Is she still taking the Allegra? Have any huge life events occurred during the course of this issue? All things to consider. But none of us are doctors or pharmacists, so you might want to consult people in the medical field. Good luck to you!
