Well here it is 12 days later after I stopped taking opiates and I feel great. I took suboxone for about 6 days and then just stopped. But u know what has helped me more than anything. Yall are gonna laugh so hard. I bought me a NINTENDO Wii and started getting into the boxing games and football and the exercises!!! That's will take ur mind off it all it is so fun and u can get ur exercise all at one time. I have been playing it a lot and I'm really feeling better about myself. I told EVERYONE that ever calls me concerning pills to not call and I deleted all their numbers outta my phone. I spend time with my kids and walk with them and take them to the mall to play in the playland area. Thanks to everyone for support. I had very minor w/d symptoms so I guess it really wasn't that hard. I think most of your withdraws are in ur head. Because while I'm playing wii or spending time with mykids I feel great. I haven't even thought about taking anything. My advice to ppl is to just get out and enjoy things. Don't let this stuff get the best of you. U can beat it, I did!!!!!

Yes I am very pround of myself. Still playing on the wii right now. Lol. My buddy that u and I talked about went to a doc finally but they prescribed him 24mg a day of subutex. Isn't that a bit much?

That is totally ignorant. He is going to be in real trouble if he keeps that nonsense up I promise you. He is taking 2-3 times as much as he needs to be taking. No one needs that much.

I tried to tell him that exact same thing but he is gonna listen to the doc of course. Oh well he shoulda learned from me that it doesn't take that much to get off of just pain pills after maybe ayear and a half 2 year addiction because we aren't that deep into it. I only took suboxone for 6 days at 2mg a day then 1mg for a couple days then half then quarter till they were gone but they got him on 3 of the 8mg 3 times a day, he's gonna be worse off by the time he tries to get off of them

I think his problem is that he still wants to get high but now he's doing it the "legit" way so he doesn't think its bad. I'm just gonna let him do what he wants to do and let him learn on his own because that's the only way he will learn

Thing is the subs don't even get him high. Some people are so confused. It's too bad that people do this to themself.

Yea he doesn't understand that. I know a 2mg sub last me ALL day. I couldn't even imagine taking 24mg in one day. Also I have another question. Is it wrong to take 2 pain pills if I have a major tootheache? I don't have the money to get it pulled yet. I wanna make sure that would be alright before I take any

All that I can tell you is that my worst relapse happened following a dental problem. I had three years clean and had two infected teeth. My dentist gave me a prescription for lorcets. Within a matter of days even after three years of being clean I was taking 40 lorcets a day again. I stopped relatively quickly and got myself straightened out again but no way I will ever take a pain pill again because of another toothache. Thats just me. I figure with scars from knife wounds and worse on me that I can tolerate a toothache better than another relapse. I wouldn't do it if it were me. God bless.

If you were like me I would spend 300-400 per week on pills. How much does it cost to get the tooth pulled? Add up what you have spent on pills in the past months vs. what you are spending now... I could ALWAYS find a way to get money for pills. This is what I would do, I would find a way to get the money to get the tooth pulled. You have come so far and I would hate to see that go away.

But now I don't work I stay at home with my kids and my wife works. She's a bartender so she makes really good money. I will be getting my tooth pulled in bout a week

After I posted to you I decided to figure out the spending. it worked out to be at lease 100.00 per day.
I am sure you will feel better when you get the tooth pulled. Try to do it sooner rather than later!!!
