The lining of my uterus is thick because it is not shedding during my menstrual cycle. Any suggestions or commom problems

I think doctors may be able to treat that by doing an D&C.

I had similar problem years ago. For about 15 years I would skip periods and have light periods. very gradually i started having more pain around period time. (all this time i was on birth contorl pill) finally pain got really bad most of the time. laparoscopy showed nothing. went to may dr.s no one knew what was wrong. i ended up at Chapel Hill. discovered either too much or not enough progesterone over these years. period material was soaking in walls of uterus instead of coming out. had hysterectomy. precancerous cells in walls of uterus. keep in mind this problem went on for a lot of years. became very painful.
