I am just needing some help with a prescription drug. It sounds like he is saying "Duladex". The person has neurosarcoidosis and this was given for treatment of this. Please help!!
Thinking about this one...
Haven't had any luck so far, so hoping there might be a few more clues - such as the strength of the drug, dosage form (pill, injection etc), dosage (once, twice daily) ?? Thanks
It is 20 mg po daily for five days. The patient has neurosarcoidosis and is also on dexamethasone.
I am really sorry - this one has me beat!
Have searched all the drugs used to treat neurosarcoidosis, and the closest match was dexamethasone...
I have copied over the search results of all the drugs ending in ex and various other combinations, and nothing fits...
Thank you anyway. I will ask the doctor and when I find out, I will let you know. Thanks. This doctor is really bad about mispronouncing drug names.
Wonder about Rheumatrex [?]
Methotrexate can be used in the treatment of neurosarcoidosis - have no idea of the dosages involved though...
