Question Antianginal

I've tried looking in other reference material and have not found the correct definition of the above term. I can understand that it might be a drug(s) or action(s) to limit the effect of angina on the heart. Stemming from coronary artery disease.

As in medical transcription, it is wrong to assume this would be the definition because if I enter this as a definition and it wasn't the correct definition, I would look like a fool and make the doctor also seem incompetant. Please help me if you can.

The only stupid question is the one never asked and one gives the wrong definition of a word and looks the bigger fool for not asking when in doubt.

Thanks,
Pappabear
P.S.>> I'm still learning the medical transcription field. I'm not a medical transcriptionist yet.
