What are the effects of Cymbalta and Effexor on a normal mind?

If a patient is prescribed Cymbalta and Effexor and actually has a normal functioning mind and wrongly prescribed, What would be the effects on this person? Would they have a large personality change such as impatience, loss of love and compassion and arguementive? Any advice would be appreciated.
