Default Drug Treatment for Alcohol...one who knows

My girlfriend is facing a court order to begin taking monthly injections to keep her from drinking. The name of this drug begins with a "V" and sounds something like "volitol" or "vilotrol." If anyone knows I'd like to be in the know. The research I conducted turned up three different drugs: naltrexone, disulfiram and acamprosate. Also if there's anyone out there that can either tell me about the drugs properties, effects, side effects etc. or refer me somehwhere to learn about it, I would be very thankful.

Thank you,

LOUIS XIV
