I am totally new to all this...never have used a forum. I was wondering if anyone knows of any good treatment and detox programs (inpatient)anywhere in the country. I use oxycontin and really want to stop. Thanks.

cwl, you can find many, many detox programs on the internet. I know you don't want to choose one from just an internet listing, but many of them carry endorsments that would be easy to follow up. Your best bet would be to search message boards such as this one but that are specific to a detox center or method. Many of the detox programs host message boards, and that way you could get feedback from people who have actually been through a program. It is against the rules of this forum to promote a specific website so I can't list any here, but if you type "detox message boards" into a search engine you'll get lots of results. Hope this helps!
