Anti cholenergics like Ipratropium increases CV risks in COPD

Dear colleagues,

I have recently read in an article in BMJ that Anti cholenergic used for symptom control in COPD increases the chances of Cardiovascular disease like heart attack - can any one explain the mechanism of action behind it?
