    Default 2 pills same kind 2 different colors??

    My pharmacist says WPI 844 orange 5 mg is the same is (upside down triangle)872 white pill 5 mg is the same thing. the first one was discounted and the doctor didnt infrom my realitive or i of that when i brought her to her appointment. Has anyone heard of this or did the pharamist mess up?

    Pharmacy's usually stock the cheapest priced generics they can buy, it's all about profit. There are usually a variety of mnf's that make the same product and all have different shapes and colors. Your doctor doesn't know what each individual pharmacy stocks, he just writes the script for either the brand name or generic name, which gets filled with what's in stock or what your insurance co. tells the pharmacist it'll pay for.
