I've been taking Tricor for one year and my last blood test showed elevated cholesterol. My doctor prescribed Lipitor in conjunction with Tricor. My HC provider won't pay for Lipitor because they claim it is in the same class as Tricor.
I was wondering if this is normal drug therapy for my condition?
