Default T3'S just dont work

T3's just dont work to kill the pain in my hand, i had 3 shattered bones from punching someone, and have bone fragments floating around in there and i dont want to go to the doctor saying
"i need something", what would work as a good painkiller? i heard oxycontin is a good pain killer but i dont know if the pain is bad enough to warrent them. someone please help.

p.s. the hand with the pain is my dominant hand. in the past i have had to take multiple t3s just to get mild relief.

i have frequently had to take high doses of codiene to cause just a little bit of relief, i think i may have a sort of immunity to it, but im not an expert, so i have almost no clue.

Tylenol #3's have only 30mgs of codeine in them and aren't very good for pain in my opinion. All they seem to do is bind people up.I used to take 30 t3's at a time and get nothing from it.Oxycodone(oxycontin) is a much better pain killer then codeine but it is also more addictive. If you're going to be using it for less then 2 weeks then I would go ahead but any longer and you should see a doctor.Good luck.....Dave

Be careful your behavior doesn't come across as drug seeking, it'll raise a red flag. You won't get Oxycontin, that's something you have to work up to over time. Since you're from Canada, it'll be more likely you'll get Tramadol (if they have it there) or Percocet.
