I would have to say no. Taking a drug to ease the psychological dependency is just substitution, and not dealing with the core issue. I would suggest some Narcanon meetings, or spend a lot of time on boards like this. Once addicted, the psychological dependency will most likely always be there, but the longer you talk about it and analyze it, the less intense it becomes, in my experience. I substituted extremely intense exercise for my addiction in the past, and not only did I stop thinking as much about the drug as I once did, I had a killer bod, to boot! |
