I was told that percocet is more apt to get you "high" then oxycodone. Therefore being highly addictive. I have read that oxycodone is also addictive. If it does not get you "high" then what would be addictive about it?! I am considering asking my doc to switch me from perc to oxycodone if there is a difference. I will prob be taking percs for about the next month or so due injuries from a fall. If I am less likely to get addicted to oxycodone then I'd like to give it a try. I have been told they are just as addictive. Anyone had experience with one verses the other.

edit: accually.. what are you comparing percocet to? oxycontin?

I was told an "ingredient" in percocet that gives you a
"high" that oxycodone alone does not have. I am wondering if this is true. I know that percocet is made from oxycodone, but is oxycodone alone just as addictive as percocet?

oxycodone alone would be a ton more addicting than just straigt percs i would think

seeing as thats what people are after when they crush up an oxycontin
