Can someone please help give me some advice? I am an over 40 woman,and i find myself in need again for reliable birth control.i have quite a few health problems,like fibro,back arthritis,ddg,to name a few.anyway i take meds on a daily basis, so i dont really want to take one more.i used the plan b a couple of times,because i was unprepared,but then went on jolivette for the last few weeks.but im already gaining weight,and getting headaches with taking them.im not sure how many more years i can even get pregnant,but i cant get pregnant.i thought about the paraguard iud,or the essure procedure,but im torn,i dont know what to do? For the last few years,my periods have also gotten much worse,pain,and cramps are bad. Ive heard the iud can make this worse,but on its good side,i can take it out when im done having periods.with essure,the metal rods they put in stay in there forever,but is it safe to have metal in your body forever? Can someone give me some advice on what to do please? I dont have a mom,or any girlfriends i can talk to.
