Good Morning,
I have trouble sleeping at night, and if I miss too many nights sleep I get manic, so am taking 2 imovaine 7.5 mg per night, which was working fine, but now I am finding that I am waking up two hours later wide awake, and have to take another one to get to sleep. Any thoughts on this as I don't want to have another addiction (I am an alcoholic in recovery). Thank you

Imovane is a Canadian med used for sleep problems. But if you take it every day it will lose its effectiveness. You're only supposed to take it when needed ... like every few days. If you have to take it every day you likely need a different medication. Hope that helps. God bless.
