Default Help! Need Suboxone/Subutex Dr. in Seattle

I am at 7.5mg of methadone currently and am going through some incredibly rough withdrawals. I was at 30-40mg of methadone for just over a year and was on Vicodin prior to that for 6 months. All for pain management of allodynia (central pain caused by immune system attacking my brain stem).

The pain is almost unbearable at times -- I am not able to function and fear I am going to lose my job. Does anyone know of a doctor in the Seattle area that helps patients get off of methadone using suboxone or subutex short term? Thanks.

I just went to www.suboxone.com entered 98101 ... center of King county and listed a 20 mile radius for area you're willing to drive. Here is a link for the sub-certified drs in that area. Hope that helps. God bless.

There is 35 drs in that one little area I entered. Lots of sub drs out there. Just have to ask around for their charges as they vary a lot.

Wow, so now I am down to 1mg of methadone EOD and I have to take 6-8 Tramadol a day. I am completely unfunctional in just about every way imaginable -- I am in such tremendous pain. I know I can totally kick methadone, I just have 1mg left to go and that is it, the Tramadol believe it or not has helped me to ween off of methadone, that along with Kratom (2 Tsp of Kratom a day keeps the WDs away...at least it did for me). But here is the thing...I could at least function on Methadone, as ********ty as it was. But I want nothing to do with the ********. I need my pain management doc realize buprenorphine has been used for years to threat chronic algesia such as allodynia (in my case terribly severe and disabling). My brain is basically that of an addict never having been addicted myself but my brain does not know the difference since my own body (brain stem in particular) is incapable of producing endogenous endorphins on its own. How f'd up is that? The worst possible thing you could do to someone and it's such a damn rare pain dissorder most doctors either want to refer you to someone else or conduct their own personal experiments on you.

Anyhow, just wanted to let you all know I am almost completely off of methadone (have been stable at 1mg for a month now) and will jump off completely as soon as I can get on subutex (not suboxone), most likely a transdermal delivery system of buprenorphine. Will let you know how it goes.
