Why do you need the Pain meds? If you have a Legitimate reason for taking a Narcotic then most doctors will be more then happy to help you. But if your just taking it to be taking it I would seriously think about maybe taking something different then Pain pills. If you want to just pop pills there is better drugs for that. In short Don't go to a Dr. to get stuff when you dont need it. It only makes it harder for people who really need it. Doctors are like this because to many people in the past have manipulated Dr. to get there way. I'm not saying your doing this, but if you dont need it then look into something different then pain meds. Try something for depression. It will make you happy!

I recommend you get in touch with Mass General. I have been dealing with 2 doctors out of there for over almost 2 years for an ongoing ankle injury. One is an Ortho and the other is Neurologist. I am very happy with the results I have gotten from the hospital and their doctors.
