DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW LONG IT TAKES FOR A 5 MG. FENTANYL PAIN PATCH TO TAKE EFFECT. I PUT IT ON AT 11:30 AM, IT'S 4:30 PM AND STILL IN THE SAME AMOUNT OF PAIN. THANKS. WITTS END

Hey they should have given you a loading dose then gave you the patch to keep you at the theraputic level and then the patch would maintain you. Did they say anything about being able to take anything else with it?
