All generic medications have the same active drug in them.Percocet is a good example,here in Ontario we have Endocet which is the same pill as Percocet except it probably has some different fillers.The main point is they both have 5mgs of oxycodone in them which is the opiate pain killer.....Dave
Not necessarily, the active ingredient only has to be bioequivalent to name brand, as I understand it. There is some controversy re generic vs. name brand that the FDA allows a plus or minus difference of 20%, that means one pill could be 40% stronger or weaker then another.
