Default frustrated...please help

I am currently in Intensive Outpatient Therapy for alcoholism. I am drug tested every week. I keep failing the drug test for BZD's (benzodiazepine). These are the current prescriptions I am on: Exforge (blood pressure), Campral (decreases the want for alcohol), Zocor (cholesterol), Prilosec (heartburn), Wellbutrin XL (depression). Can any of these be giving off a false positive for benzodiazepine? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

One of them most common false positive results happen with benzos. They are often casued with antidepressants. Can't guarantee that in your instance but that would be my guess. Just insist that they do another lab test. Ask your dr if any of them CAN possibly do a false positive. If they say no then your dr isn't fully informed. Let us know what they say. I dont like to do their job for them ... make them tell you what they are basing their decision on. Then you will know who doesn't know what they are talking about. God bless.

Showtime,
As we all know, nothing is infallible. Something is causing you to test positive for benzos-they don't just appear in your blood from no where. Take Robert's advice and question your doctor about your meds. If you don't like his answer or just want to hedge your bet, ask your pharmacist, too. Either way, make sure if someone can tell you which one could be causing it that you have that person talk to your outpatient therapy clinic.
Unfortunately, it's things like this that can cause people to want to give up therapy. I hope you stay with it and good luck.
