Default Don't want drugs put on health insurance statement..HELP!

Hi everyone, My parents and I have a disagreement about the drugs I am taking. Unfortunately, they don't understand the pain I now am forced to put up with daily since my car accident. I have been paying full price for my medicine anyway so is there anyway around not getting my medicine put on my health insurance statement? Unfortunately I cant afford to go out and get my own health insurance yet but is there any other way? Everytime I get my medicine I pay full price and a statement still gets sent to my parents from blue cross. Help please.
Thanks

Have you tried going to a new pharmacy altogether and starting from scratch not providing any insurance information to them?

I agree with PH, you should be able to go to any pharmacy you havent been to and not give them the insurance information. If they ask, just tell them you dont have insurance

ok well I will try that. So yourinsurance company won't just automatically know unless your insurance info is given first? Because I was thinking that once your name is entered into the comuter or something your insurance co would be notified. I am now assuming that theory is incorrect?? Thanks for the help guys. Anyones input is greatly appreciated.

Default can't do that

I just spoke with a nurse from m dr's office and she said that going to a different pharmacy and not supplying them with my insurance information throws up "red flags". I legitimately need this medicine and ca not continue getting it the way things are looking now. I don't want to do anything wrong in order to get my medicine. Thanks for the help so far, but for now it looks like I'm screwed. Thanks in advance for any other help.
