demerol and fentanyl combo

hey there all,

I was just wondering about the effects of combining fentanyl and demerol together. If the fentanyl has been worn as a patch for a week and then I start taking demerol in 100 mg doses does the fentanyl cancel out the demerol or the other way around? The patch is 50 mcg/h. Just looking for some help.
don't want to waste one while taking the other if it is not going to work.

No they won't cancel out.Are you using the demerol for break thru?????....Dave
