Hello everyone,

I have been taking, as prescribed by my doctor, Norco 10/325 2 at a time, 2x daily for years. I also was recently prescribed 5 mg Valium to use as need for anxiety. Well I don't use the Valium all that often unless my high stress job gets to me more than usual. Lets say 1x per week or so.
Anyway, last visit the doctor wanted me to start taking Cymbalta. He said it is a miracle drug that works for the pain and for the stress. What ? I declined and kept with what always has worked. I have since then did a bit of research on Cymbalta and do not like what I see.

Any ideas? Why would he jump to cymbalta when I have mild anxiety on rare occasions, and I have serious pain from a torn-up knee and a bad back ? I thought the cymbalta was for diabetic nerve pain and depression.
