Are you talking about carcinoma in situ 1 of the cervix? If you are then here is the answer: The most common cause of cervical cancer (and CIN 1) is HPV (human papilloma virus) which is the most common sexually transmitted disease in the US. It causes genital warts in some people. Some people who have the virus have no symptoms. Very rarely it can cause penile cancer. |
