Default black walnut, hickory allergies

Last summer, and now this summer, I have been getting an angry red rash. It starts like a red welt, then grows and spreads and becomes very itchy. It lasts about a week, does not get any blisters, and the worst days are about the second, third, and fourth. I've been to the Dr. He doesn't know what it is. I know poison ivy and oak, and stay away. (Have had that plenty!) So, after much thought and investigation, I've narrowed it down to baby black walnut and shagbark hickory trees, which I am always pulling out of my flower beds. Has anyone ever heard of these causing a rash like I am experiencing?
