Benzoyl Peroxide

Hi all. Ive been using Benzoyl Peroxide (Panoxyl Aqaugel 2.5) for a few weeks now its its worked like a dream. I only use a tiny amount probably twice a week, that's it! however, ive noticed internet articles stating that benzoyl peroxide could be a cancer promotor. Is there any truth in this? as u can imagin that has scared me into thinking twice as to whether or not i should continue using this product. If any1 has any useful info they'd like to share on this subject, id really appreciate it!

Well the first thing you have to understand is that most of these studies involve animals that were subject to very, very high doses, way more than the amount you would use in several years.

Secondly a predisposition to cancer would also be a determining factor, if it runs in your family and is genetic.

You will find, many, many things on the market that are said to cause cancer, like I said these are usually in very high doses, so it is not a necessary worry unless you are bathing in the stuff every day!
