adhd and seizure medications

I am a concern mother, I am asking if a cild have one seizure should she be put on medication soon after. I also would like to know should a child take adhd medicine and seizure medicine at the same time. The medicines are Trileptal and Metedate. Please if anyone can help me I am in need of help.
