| | I'm sorry to tell you this, but as far as I know there is no way to obtain that drug legally w/out a scrip. Adderall is a mix of amphetamine salts, and is a schedule II controll substance, along w/ morphine, cocaine and methamphetamine. You cannot get any of these meds over the internet, or through mail order, because it is illegal to fill scripts for schedule II's in any way but face to face w/ a doctor, and they are illegal to ship into the US from foreign pharmacies. They don't even make adderall (or dexadrene or desoxyn) in Mexico, which is a good place to get meds w/o a script I hear
This leaves you with the unreliable (at best) black market, and even there, there is a large demand and short supply of pharmacutical grade apmhetamines, and they tend to fetch outragous prices. If you have legitimate need for this med, than find a doctor or nurse practictioner who will see you on a sliding scale. Otherwise, good luck with your local drug dealer.

| | Stallion is right concerning ordering drugs online. The government doesn't call them "Controlled Substances" for nothing... What do you need the Adderall for if I may ask? I take adderall XR 30mg/day for Attention span difficulties (ADD). HOwever, adderall,as stallion mentioned, is an amphetamine. It has many addictive characteristics found in cocaine and meth. It is commonly abused for the following reasons: To go for long periods of time without feeling hungry (to lose weight), to stay up for long periods of time, for euphoria, for heightened sexual pleasure, for improved study/memory skills (common purpose for abuse among high school and college students). Those are just main reasons the drug is a S II. Bottom line, the drug is prescribed ONLY for ADHD and in some rare cases for weight loss. My advice, see a doctor concerning adderall if you have problems with ADHD/ADD
Cheers,

| | I was first prescribed Aderall 25&30mg.XR in November 2002 by my family doctor to treat "Age Activated ADD". After I started taking these meds my preformance was outstanding, I was promoted three times, all my managers could talk about was how greatly I improved. Then in July of 2004 I lost my job with my employer, due to company downsizing, and consequently lost my health insurance benifits that allowed me to afford the once monthly doctors consultation, and prescription refill. Since then I have lost my job with 3 different employers due to unsatisfactory preformance. I informed each employer about my AA-ADD, and I told them that my preformance would not be sufficient untill I recieved health insurance benifits that would allow me to afford my meds. I would do very good at each job but my preformance was not consistant. During the times that my preformance was on the negative end of the inconsistancy I couldn't get things done, I had no initiative, I was very slack. Each employer would not give me the opportunity to advance to full time and recieve health insurance. I lost my job last week, and I'm struggling to find an employer that will hire me as a full-time associate so I can try to fix my tarneshed resume and finally be able to do the kind of job I know I can do when on my prescription. Does anybody know if there is a way I can get my prescription without having to pay so much for a doctor's visit and for getting it refilled? When I was insured it would cost me $40 monthly for the doctor's visit and Aderall 30mg.XR, now it would cost me upwards of $350 monthly since I'm uninsured. Please post if you have any good suggestions. |

| | There is no such thing as "Age Activated ADD." Your doctor is full of **** and is feeding you lies to get your money. There may be situational factors in your life that don't allow you to perform to your greatest potential, such as depression or some major distraction (divorce, financial troubles, an upcoming event, etc). However, if you are truely ADD, you have been your whole life. It may continue into adulthood, but you don't just develop it. I am a college student, and I actually do have ADD. Most people that I tell that I am on Adderall just look at me suspiciously and assume I am abusing it because people like you try to obtain the drug without a prescription merely to gain an edge. This behavior is what gives the drug a bad name and make it harder to get a prescription for the people who really do need it. Try a little motivation and elbow grease like everyone else! |

| | In response to the previous post, it may be usefull to you in the future, Slalomqueen, to check your facts and maybe have an idea of what you know and don't know before you post a reply. As far as I know, you do not know me, and you have no idea of what does and does not go on in my life. Secondly you have no right to pass any judgement on my health care provider, whether he is "full of ****" and mis-diagnosis his patients in order to get their money or not. Further more, I do not recall typing that I "...just develop(ed) it.". I just re-examined my earlier post word for word and I couldn't find anything that would insinuate such a statement. I also wish for you to know that I do currently have a prescription for AderallXR, and that I use this medication to treat a ligidimate disorder. Just because my diagnosis is fairly uncommon, does not mean that it does not exsist. My disorder occurs when a young adolescent (10-13 years old) is mis-diagnosed with the most common type of ADD "Classic ADD" and is prescribed Ritalin when infact the said adolescent is suffering from Limbic ADD (one of the six different types of ADD) which should be treated with medications like Deprex. When you take the wrong medication for the wrong disorder for a long period of time it can cause adverse effects to the true disorder, especialy when the wrong medication is as strong of a stimulant as ritalin. The consiquences of such a mis-diagnosis becomes noticiable in a patient's behavior after 3-4 years of mis-treatment. I was 10 when I was mis-diagnosed, then at age 14 my new family doctor informed me and my parents that said mis-diagnosis had occured, and discontinued my prescription of ritalin. It was decided that I should go un-medicated with my disorder for a period of 1-2 years inorder for my new doctor to gaige the adverse effects of the mis-diagnosis and how they impacted my true disorder. After going untreated for a year and five months with monthly evaluations my doctor concluded that I still suffered from Limbic ADD, and that one of the effects of continued treatment with the wrong medication during the most crucial years of adolescent developement caused a chemical imbalance within behavioral areas, and developmental areas of my brain. It was then established that my disorder could get progressively worse as I get older. We were encouraged by this doctor to explore our resources and get other medical opinions, which we did and the other four doctors concurred with this one's findings. At first we expected my disorder to peak at the age of 19 and then slowly digress. But it has not peaked yet, at the age of 22, thus it becomes stronger as I age. Hence Age Activated ADD. My doctor tried two other medications to treat my disorder but he felt AderallXR provided the best results for my treatment. It makes me very upset when people assume I use this medication for recreational reasons, just like it would you. Aswell as when they close mindedly assume that my disorder doesn't exist merely because they have never heard of it before, or because they've heard it associated with a joke. How dare you question my integrity as well as my doctor's with your ignorant assumptions. All I wanted was to seek out different options that would allow me to afford my medication. | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
