Zoloft Hello, I thought I might have anxiety but it wasn't that bad I could still function fine but I decided to try zoloft. I think my anxiety was so low that it could be overcome mentally and I don't think I needed the zoloft as I can hold conversations and not worry too much without it. Anyway I rushed into the zoloft without thinking about it and now have been on it for 3 months. I'm not a heavy drinker but do drink on occassion. Anyway I talked to my doctor about coming off zoloft and she said that it'd be fine as I was only on 50 mg a day she said to take 25mg for 2 weeks and then 25 mg every other day for two weeks. I was wondering if it is safe to stop zoloft like that after three months. I do not want to have weird withdrawls or some sort of depression settle in that I didn't have before taking it. Any advice would be much appreciated. I'm a 22 year old male and I didn't have side effects from the Zoloft. I take adderall which i started 1 month ago and while on adderal i seem to have way less anxiety than any other time in my life. I only take the recommended dose of adderall as needed and it is working great for me. |
