Hey pickle06,
I had a reply all typed up yesterday and I was looking for the spell check and lost the whole thing! anyways in answer to your question.
You are right about there being a difference in how you feel. If you are not feeling like your old self, then I would try to get the script changed. Not all generics work for all people, and there can be a difference in the makeing of the generic drugs. Some people will not agree with that. You should be able to call your drs office and request that you be given a prescription for the Welbutrin and not the
bupropion sr. if you want a real treat try the
wellbutrin XL that you only take once a day! I use that and it stays throughout the day.I had a very hard time with the SR. Plus I allways try to make sure that I check the script the dr gives me, and I make sure to check at the pharmacy that it is the name brand and not generic(Bupropion). The Wellbutrin XL, if you go to the web site you can get a certificate for 10.00 off a month for a year(about). They will send it every month about the time you would run out. I am assuming you have insurance or something to that effect. I hope this helps.
