Default ultracet side effects

Hi there, I am new here and have a question for ya:I have taken effexor before and had to stop because of Ocular Migraines, you know that big flashing circle thing you see. Now I am trying Ultracet for TMJ pain, and it is great, it works better than the tylenol 3 which I think I am getting immune to. But, after 2 weeks, I am starting to see that stupid ocular migraine thing out of the corner of my right eye!Its not anything like before on the effexor, but i do have a lot of afterimages too. My question is , is this a side effect that is just annoying or is it a bad sign that the Ultracet is bad for me, I am going to the Doc tomorrow, but it is always good to hear other patients experiences. Crys

Not a good sign especially if you've had problems before.Be careful with the ultacet as it's addictive and taking to much can cause siezures.Definately tell your doctor about this......Dave

so, when i asked my docs, 2 of them today, and one is an md and the other is a d.o., if Ultracet works somewhat like effexor, both being SNRI, they had no clue what I was talking about. I have read this on the internet, at every drug sight, am I wrong? But how can I know more than these doctors, they are both very good. Anyways, Im not taking it anymore, I swear it felt just like the bad side effects from the Effexor. Just my diagnosis.
