I go to a pain management doctor who gives me 60-vicoprofen a month. He wont give me anymore than that. He has giving me some muscle relaxers but nothing stong enough to work. On every now and then i will take a couple of somas. He does random drug testing and i was wondering if they will show up in drug test and if so how long do they stay in your system. Hope some one out there can give me a answer ive looked all over and cant find anything that really helps
if ur doc is perscribing vicuprofen & somas, thats fine for ur pain, but if he or she is giving you drug test, then he or she will find the soma's, and he or she can tell if your doing the prescribed amount or your doing more than prescribed. ( that is, if this is the doc who is prescribing you the two meds )
Sound like a very good doc.
The soma i take is not from my PM doctor there are from a friend. I have taken soma perscribed to me a long time ago. But my PM doctor is not aware of me taking them now. I have a lot of bone degeneration in my back and arthritus in my back neck and shoulders. He gives me 60 vicoprophen a month but no more. Ive asked him to increase it to 90 but he refuses to do it. Ive told him that 3 a day works pretty good i still have a little pain but is controlable. So i run short every month. Most of the time he test me im clean because i run out about 3-4 days befour. He tells me that if he gives me more ill end up needing more and then something stronger. I have been on the vicoprophen for 2 years and they still work but its hard to stretch 2 out they only last for about 2 hours. Ive never asked for anything stronger because the vicos still work the same as they always have. when i tell him they work ok he keeps telling me ill need something stronger. he seems to block out what i am saying that im fine on what he gives me but they dont last. I work 10hrs a night and the last two hours it feals like somebody is ripping my back apart. As far as the somas i just take about 8-10 a month will that show up in urine test. PS he is not a easy doctor to talk to
