Default subutex

I have to go inpatient next week but need a negative drugtest to be admitted as they do not have the resources to deal with withdrawel. the doc at the clinic where i am at now (outpatient) has prescribed subutex for me to help with this....I have been clean for 4 days and my system should reasonably clean by now.
subutex is suppose to wipe the receptors in your brain wich is effected by the opiates.
subutex is new in south africa so i don't know if it is old news to the rest of you.
if you do not know about it, ask your doctor. it has realy eased withdrawel for me.
though yesterday and the day before were horrendous, i'm feeling ok now.

I am DESPREATELY in need of some of this medication, subutex!!!! I looked on line under a google search, and it looks to be that the prescribing physician needs to have addiction training (min 8 hours)?, in order to write this - also, it says they need to send to federal govt, blah, blah, blah - I wanted to go to my regular doctor, but I'm not sure he is qualified to write this - does anyone have other suggestions on where to get, ie, outpatient detox? Also, does it really work for the bad withdrawls? I am taking about 13 10mg percocet/day after back surgey - still in constant pain, and pain meds not helping, so why continue on this course of treatment?
Please help!! One more question - does the taper method work, and if so, could someone let me know how this is done?

If you go to www.suboxone.com (buprenorphene=subutex, suboxone) they have a doctor locator there.Find a list of doctors in your area and start phoning to get an appointment.Buprenorphene is the new gold standard in medical detoxing and is an exellent drug.I urge anyone with an opiate addiction to get on it.This drug takes away all withdrawls and you have no cravings allowing you to get back to work ect. When you and the doctor feel your ready then you start a slow detox.....Dave

what I decided to do was go off hydro and oxy's cold turkey the withdrawl was cerainly a really hard the first day and second. but instead of going to rehab I said to myself let me beat this demoned i drank water and alot of it and now its been a week since i had meds. I dont want too go to rehab because ive been hospitalized for mental illness and it was a long 8 weeks for me....

that is why i went off cold turkey. but anyway i wish y'all the best off luck and best wishes
