Unhappy Is Suboxone Right For Me? HELP!

i know most addicts have been addicted to opiates for years upon years when they get suboxone subscribed to them, but i have been doing Opana (oxymorphone) 40mg's for the past 5 months. usually insufflating the pills, having 1 lasting me about 2 days... so that is on average 20mg of oxymorphone being ingested everyday for 5 months. i would like to get advice from someone who has actually been hooked on oxymorphone and knows just how powerful it really is, and if i should just quit cold turkey with the help of some sleeping pills (which is not going to be easy, even though it has only been 5 months its oxymorphone which is muchh stronger than any other opiate i have ever done or heard of) or if i should try a 7 day detox using suboxone that i got from a friend. i have looked through the forums and read comments about how much worse suboxone w/d's can be compared to opiates but i would only be on it for a week... and i would not be taking very much at all during the day.. just enough to keep the pain at bay. some1 please help my situation i wanna get thru this so i can be free!

I am very pro-subuxone but in your case I would recommend a cold turkey using the Thomas Recipe to help with the w/d symptoms. Not to minimize your habit but you are NOT someone I would recommend for suboxone. Here is a link for the Thomas Recipe. It will help some and this is your best bet. You'll feel like a new person inside of a week. Don't get yourself off into the subs is my best advice. God bless.
