Since 2003, I have been on xanax, paxil, cymbalta, buspirone, clomipramine (had to go to e.R. On this stuff after one dose), clonazepan, mirtazipine, zoloft, zyprexa, seroquel, prozac, celexa, toprol xl and welbutrin. I currently take 20 mg of lexapro, 0.5 mg of risperdal, 20 mg of prilosec and 10 mg of ambien for sleep. However, I feel I am getting no better.

I have been on 20 mg of Lexapro since 2/11/07 and still to this day, I feel like my body is going a million miles a minute, jaw clenching, sweating profusly (sp), can't sleep, started having severe panic attacks, which I never had, irratible, agitated. I actually take 10 mg of Ambien to sleep and that doesn't even work, it put's me to sleep but I don't stay asleep and it gives me a euphoric state. I actually kind of twitch during the day and when I try to sleep. Anybody else have this with Lexapro after so long? Could I just be too sensitive to medication?

Does anybody think you could still have these problems after 3 months of taking the medicine? Could it just be related to all SSRI's for some people?

I have almost always been on an SSRI and I can't remember not feeling like this, but maybe not this bad. It seems to me I almost have akathisia, but I don't know this could be after so long. Once I started taking Zoloft in 2003 everything changed and is pretty much the same today. Thanks!
