Default Singulair - info/help please

I had been taking 10 mg of singulair to help regulate asthma and as an added benefit...it should help with my seasonal allergies.

My seasonal allergies became much, much worse, headaches, extreme nausea, anxious (anxiety), my breathing was "off" and I hyperventilated...and, of course, got scared to death...I was literally feeling like I was going off the "deep" end.

I reasearched for 2 days and found a "complete" list of potential side effects of singulair here on this site...thank you so very much!

I have been of it for 3-4 days now and I am feeling better...however, I am still looking for an answer to one of my questions....How long "can" this take to get out of my system?

I searched the pharmacology for singulair and the info did indicate that 86% was excreted within 5 days via bowel.

I've been so sick to my stomach that eating has been almost forced for the past week or so. My thinking is that if I'm not eating...I won't be going to the bathroom as much...and maybe have this drug still be in my system for longer....does this make sense to anyone else?

I'm really hoping for someone to be able to provide any info to make me a little more "at ease". I'm still feeling the effects and my husband is going away tomorrow on a 5 day business trip. He's (understandably) worried about me...and I'm worried also. I would love to have the feeling that I'll continue to feel better in the next few days....and convey a feeling of comfort to him as well.

Sorry that this post is so long.....can anyone offer some advice? Thanks!

Live every day to it's fullest!
