Default REMERON for OCD?? PLEASE HELP! SEEING DOC TOMORROW

Hi everyone!

I suffer from GAD and OCD and I am on Paxil and Xanax for it, which is working beautifully! I was on Lexapro and Xanax before Paxil but, while it helped, it was not nearly as effective. The ONLY problem with Paxil is the lack or total absence of any sexual desire, as is the case with all SSRI's it appears. My doctor has also been nice enough to give me some trial samples of Cialis to try to suppress the sexual side effects, but while it does make some difference, Cialis does not actually help with desire.

Having said that, I have done some more research, and I came across a drug called Remeron, which is not an SSRI, and supposedly works for OCD.

Here is my question: Does anyone have any experience with Remeron and OCD? I am interested in hearing about BOTH positive and negative experiences. I am seeing my doctor tomorrow, so PLEASE RESPOND!

Thank you so much for any replies! It would help a lot!
