Hi, Ive just been perscribed Zyprexa after numerous anti-depressants have failed me (Zoloft, Wellbutrin, Lexapro). Ive also tried Lamictal (made me more depressed) and have been on numerous Benzodiazepines (unfortunately, thats no longer an option as Im a recovering addict). My problem is mainly severe irritability and moodswings along with anxiety. I was wondering if anyone here has taken or is on Zyprexa and what the results have been. Also what kind of side effects people have experienced. It knocks me out, which I expected....Also, I was wondering what dosage people normally take. My doctor started me on 5mg but is increasing it to 10 after 3 days.
