Does prozac help with anxiety? I just started taking it two days ago after going off effexor. I know paxil helps but it also causes weight gain.

Angel, I am not sure about prozac. Not every one can take it. So if you are having severe symptoms after taking it please call the person that prescribed it. On the weight gain, be sure and talk with your doc and let them know that this is a concern for you. There are some meds out there that do not cause weight gain,(or very little).

Does anybody know anything about prozac. I don't know why nobody ever responds to my posts here. I am just looking for some support!!!!! I am new to taking antidepressants and just wanted some information. I guess no one here gives out information to new people. I can't believe out of all the people that have read my post no one can respond.............Come on.......Thanks for the help..................[V]
