Default Provigil Side Effects

Hey all. My doctor just started me on Provigil for depression and excessive sleepiness due to a combo Effexor Suboxone regimen. I take 100mgs first thing in the morning and he said to take the other 100mgs before noon some time. I usually take it at about 10:30.

This drug has really proved to be a miracle for me. I feel like my happy, creative, alert, busy old self, without the high euphoria that painkillers used to give me. I feel like I did before I ever had depression or chronic pain.

Here's the problem, it's been three days and I still get some nausea and headache from the provigil. Is this a sign that the dose is too high or is it a permanent side effect? I'd hate to give up this progress in my depression, but the nausea is terrible.

I started Provigil as well a while back and was told to ONLY take 100mg a day and IF needed, take another pill. Listen to your body; it's talking to you.

Smile provigil

I to have started taking provigil 200mg 2X a day & don't notice being sick to my stomach but I also take other narcotics & have a stomach of steel maybe try eating simething that sticks to your stomach or drink milk with it. I have found out when a pill ever hurt my stomach I drank milk with it & take some tumes & its fine. also your body might just need to get used to it so try it for about 1-2 weeks & it should go away. good luck & let me know how it works out.
