Your reading the post wrong. It's 320mgs of oxycodone not methadone.I was actively abusing for 23 years and when I started methadone it took 400mgs a day for me to stablize.Everyone is different and the longer you've been abusing and also what you've been abusing effects your dose.My tolerance is very high.I stayed at 400mgs for 3 years or so and last year I came down 20mgs a month until I hit 300mgs.That's were I am today.I have never nodded from methadone.I am very active and on the go all day long. The clinics fail to educate their patients and far to often they end up laying around all day sedated and watching Jerry Springer. All this does is give methadone a bad name plus people tend to gain to much weight when they are sitting around all day doing nothing but eating sweets. It's imperative that patients on methadone be as active as possible.I have helped many people who were overweight and sedated because their clinic didn't tell them that by getting up and moving their methadone will work with them and not against. This is a big problem with the methadone clinics and up here in Canada we haven't got buprenorphene available so way to many people are on methadone that should never have been on it.Oh well, I could go on and on but that would bore everyone...Have a good day.....Dave |
