Same. I went through the same thing you are going through about two years ago. I found that cold turkey does not really work unless you have something to drive you away from the addiction such as a relationship or a family. My method was a bit unorthodox, but it worked for me... What I did is either worked out, played music, played video games, went out and did something that was not boring with friends that did not use opiates. You have to do something that takes your mind out of this state of constant thought and desire. Working out and Video Games help with this a lot!!! They both help you take your focus out of this world and into something that occupies time without doing much damage to your body. Sports are good for this too. The only reason i suggest Video Games or some multi player online tournament is you can do it at home, you don't use much energy, you don't have to be athletic, and the communication of online gaming tricks your brain into thinking that it's main focus should be to win or aid your team mates in winning. Just like sports without sweat, pain, or people with similar interests locally. If games, sports, exercise, music, art, or relationships are not for you then i suggest finding something you like to do and just strive to do it as well and as often as possible. Your brain forgets the pills and focuses on whatever the common goal is. I was on 130mg of ox a day (80 in the morn 20 lunch 20 after school 10 after dinner) and popped other low mg opiates throughout the day when i had them, when i met my girl and changed who i was. She was my motivation. I also played games and music when she was not around. I suggest trying to find that thing that makes you happy. ******** programs, cold turkey, receptor blockers and benzos. Just try real hard. You can do it. |
