I think no one is responding because birth we don't have any answeres, but I will tell yhou the little I can, all birth control pills carry risk of blood clot and any one with clot history even in your family should not be taking them. They even say thatt on their commercials. a\Ask another, doc, your're going to have to anyway, any lawyer will ask you if you did and you will need a second opiniojn. Unles you lied about your history you may have a case but finding a willing lawyer will be another matter. They tend to advertise immensely, yet only accept cases they know are cut and dry, and prefer ones similar to ones they've already settled so the research is already done. Prepare to have to ask many before you find one that will tackle it. At any rate, no more pills for you! Now we all know that you are aware. Get a PDR (the library will have one) and look up your brand. You can google your brand name with the words blood clots and print anything off too, but the PDR is the definitive authority. The research librarian help you if it's too confusing, and find your brand, take your package (Script with your name on it)and a copy of the listed warnings about blood clots, and proof you have had them after starting the drug to an attorney, and he'll already feel you've done the legwork. A second opinion from another doctor sill will be necessary, unfortunately our advice doesn't count. If your brand doesn't warn about blood clots, your case will be against the manufacture rather then the doctor thus a bit harder, and attorneys don't like hard work. In any case, be persistant. Take care. K |
