ok my name is jay and here is the 100% truth , i did herion for the first time at the age of 32.. that was ten years ago.... until about two years ago i was on methadone 120 mg a day for about 6 years... this entire 10 year time i never stoped using herion .. i have not had one single solitary day clean since 2001(spent one full day in detox before leaving) .. for about 4 years 2004 to 2008 i was using the most i had ever ..at this point i was shooting 30 to 40 bags a day...btw i snorted for my first two yeaars of use and the last seven or eight years have been injection only... i do not use ANY other drugs at all .except weed (i don't consider weed a drug) ... ok so at this point now and for the last year I have gotten my use down to the most 16 bags a day and in last month i have even had days were i used as little as 8 bags ... all this has been in anticipation of quiting ... I WILL NOT GO BACK ON METHADONE .. I RATHER JUST KEEP USING INSTEAD OF DRINKING THAT POISON.. SO THE BIG QUESTION AND PLEASE GIVE IT TO ME STRAIGHT ......DO I HAVE A CHANCE OF USING SUBOXONE OR HAS MY HABBIT BEEN TO LONG AND TO MUCH..I ask because i have heard so many different stories ... some said it would work and some said no way , that I had been using to long ..I really want this..

I can help you with suboxone IF you'll do exactly as I ask you to. Look around the forum, you'll see the threads where I do this every day. No way that suboxne won't work for heroin detox if you do it correctly. Let me know if you want my help. God bless.

First thing is read the sub therapy thread. It will explain how I suggest using subs. I try to get you past your opiate detox with subs but then get you off the subs too in about eight weeks. Here's the link .....

You've got to be in severe w/d as you see in the link before you're inducted. You'll need to score a 26 minimum on the COWS worksheet (Clinical Opioid W/D Scale). You find that in the INDUCTION section of the aforementioned link. Everything we do is based on how the induction goes.

We do the subs with very small doses. Most people take too much and for too long.

I will be on here in the morning. I'm about to crash tonite. But you should plan on stopping all heroin tomorrow if you have the subs. We will just have to wait it out for you to be ready for induction as if you do it too quickly you'll go into the worst w/d of your life I promise. You have NO idea how lucky you are that we're going to do this together starting out with day one doing the induction. The induction is so important. We are always successful when we do the it right here.

robert I am having a really hard time getting 6 hours much less a whole day .. is their anything i can do to help take off the edge while I am waiting for my withdrawel to start. i was the type to shoot up every four hours at least and now its been eight hours and i am not anywhere near 26 on cow sheet but i am not sitting easy either .. if i was to take a xanax or volume would that be ok ???? i DO NOT ABUSE PILLS AND NEVER HAVE ... PLS ADVISE AND THANK YOU SO MUCH

It's not that I want you to suffer but think about what I'm saying here. The only way to know if you're ready to be inducted properly is if you are at that 26 number on the COWS worksheet. If you put yourself into precip w/d you'll regret this big time.

You're obviously within hours of being inducted, I just won't be able to tell for sure if you start taking any benzos. That will hide your symptoms and actually make it longer before you would be ready to be inducted. Believe it or not the fastest way for you to feel better is ride this out today and we'll have you feeling better soon. Trust me on this, I have no reason to lie to you.

I know you feel like hell. It's the only part of doing this that is painful. If we consider what we've done to ourselves abusing drugs over the years it almost doesn't seem as bad that we feel badly for one day. Hang in there, you never have to do this again. God bless.

Ok that makes sense . Ok no xanax.... So really its different for everyone , i had thought you had to have at least 24 or more hours before you could start treatment .. But i guess you have heard of all kinds of time frames .. May i ask you what is the longest amount of time you have heard of in hours and what is the shortest amount in hours that it took for at least a 26 score on cow sheet . I ask because truthfully i have not been sick a day in like seven years and use very often .

This is the most important part of the whole sub process as far as you getting inducted properly and then off the subs in a six-eight week period of time. Even with shooting dope every four hours it can still be done if you do this part right. It's impossible to say how many hours it will take.

I always tell people don't get in a rush to start the induction too fast. At the same time if you score a 26 in 18 hours I have no problem with that. It's that 26 score that matters, not the number of hours you wait. It just so happens though that I've not seen too many times that 18 hours did it. I've seen it take a good 24 hours up to 48 hours or with heroin.

I had a guy who put himself into precipitated w/d three times here a month or two ago. He kept starting before he was ready, he wouldn't listen. He was a heroin addict and went in precip w/d after 30 hours. Just a few more hours would have done it for him but he wouldn't wait. He has not been back yet to do it again.
