Does anyone have any information regarding severe burning on injection of Nutropin at site that lasts a few minutes. I understand it is a protein injected Sub-Q, but the burining that occurs does not seem to be right. Any help to reduce this burning?

My son is experiencing the same problem, and we're ready to call it quits with Nutropin AQ. The company pharmacist that supplies the drug had no answer or solution. I did find out that some counterfeit Nutropin was out on the market and was causing the burning you describe. I'm currently waiting to hear from my doctor. My HMO has an exclusive contract with Nutropin, so we're stuck at this point.
