I'm new and i'm 14. I'm taking Mefenamic acid to help me not to get heavy period's and all the agony my period's give me. Since my doctor prescribed them in april they've worked really well. I'm supposed to take them 2 days before my period starts. I did that this month looking at when my last one started and my period hasn't appeared. 5 days have passed since my period was supposed to start and i've probably been taking my medicine longer than 5 days now and i read that you shouldn't take it for more than 7 days. I'm worried that my medicine has stopped me getting my period even though i've had the things like mood swings/crying that you would normally get on your period. I also believe that although i'm probably still growing i seem to have gained weight(it has been mentioned as a side affect). Hope someone can help.[?]
